Destinations

“Destinations” is about connection. In a strictly general sense, the drive for building qualitative social relationships is directly reflected in the dynamics we see happening in our day-to-day connections. From the smallest greeting to the most inspiring romances, we are magnetized into the orbit of others based on the choices we make to engage or disengage. There is often pushback because of hesitation or doubt. And even when we are able to take courageous leaps of faith, it does not come without its share of pain. Through our commitment to engage, we accept that some interference is bound to pop up. For some, the idea is to meet the challenges while others tend to their nature, floating down the least resistant path. The photos in this series aim to impress how we create our own interference between ourselves and our desired destination. By positioning the models in various positions of connection or reproach, their dynamic offers us the nuances of this magnetism.
